Tripartite Workshop on Enabling Environment for Sustainable Enterprises

One of the activities within the Strengthening Social Dialogue Project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Labour Organization, is the Tripartite Assessment of Critical Areas for Enabling Environment for Sustainable Enterprises (EESE). A comparative analysis was conducted on the situation and reforms realized in the period 2013/14 to 2019 in the five areas identified as essential for sustainable business in the country: Enabling legal and regulatory environment; Rule of Law and Proprietary Rights, Access to Financial Services, Fair Competition, and Entrepreneurial Culture.

The new research of the critical areas for enabling business environment for sustainable enterprises will be under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council, with the purpose of proactive promotion of initiatives for support to the business environment reforms, and will be focused on determining new key priorities for sustainable enterprises, from government, employers and workers’ point of view.

The tripartite meeting to present concept of Enabling business Environment for Sustainable Enterprises and the key findings of the analysis and determine the new priorities was held on the 17th of April in hotel Solun.
